What can I expect?
I know you want the most incredible vacation and have a seamless experience from start to finish. Your time is valuable and this trip is important.
Abroad with Ease designs custom curated travel experiences for travelers just like you. Consider us your matchmakers; the connection between the trip you’ve been dreaming about and the vacation we create that makes those dreams a reality.
You get the trip of your dreams with none of the leg-work. All you have to do is pack your bags. As a custom travel planner, I will work with you to plan the best stays, experiences, recommendations and plans that fit your needs. So get stoked! You deserve the best travel experience!
How much does it cost?
Just $50 per travel day, that’s in addition to the cost of your travel bookings, hotel, car, excursions etc. As I do not book flights, you’ll need to take care of that portion. Any changes to travel dates, after planning begins, incurs a $75 fee.
Full payment for all days planned is required from the start, research for your trip begins when payment for travel planning fee is received.
What’s included?
Trip planning and booking, I will provide:
A personal conversation to discuss your wishes/desires for the trip
Individualized research to design a tailor-made trip for you
Booking of trip components including lodging, transportation, activities (I do not book airfare)
Customized itinerary and recommendations that fit your preferred travel style and budget
What if I only want you plan a few days of a longer trip, is that ok?
Totally!!! I’m happy to plan a day or two or more! You let me know how many days you want over all and I can work out a custom plan for that time. You want one really fantastic day in a city? I’ll get that set up for you.
Is it really custom? Can I give input into my trip?
Absolutely! Each trip is completely tailored to and for you and your travel companion's needs/wants. I will be in constant contact while making sure everything fits your desires. Tell me about you and your wishes for this trip, I’ll factor in your tastes, budget, preferences, dietary restrictions and more. It’s all about you, baby!
What if I plan a trip and then decide I want to go in a different direction/location?
Planning a trip is time intensive and the research done for you is custom for your specific trip planning. The original trip planned is totally and uniquely yours and while starting from scratch is absolutely possible, it will require another trip planning fee for days planned.
What happens if I’m on the trip and need help or something gets cancelled?
My job is to make sure your plans are set before you leave, and I will always recommend that you purchase travel insurance in the event you need it. Abroad with Ease is not the source or supplier of the travel services requested and acts solely as a booking agent for disclosed principal supplier cruise lines, hotels, airlines, ground transportation and other companies providing accommodations, transportations, and/or other services. Each of these suppliers is an independent entity with its own management and is not subject to the control of Abroad with Ease
The service you’ve paid for does not include concierge service once you’re on the trip. It's pretty understandable; I’ll book the things for you, but I don’t run the companies the bookings go through and cannot control their cancellations or changes. More info here in terms and conditions.
Can I make changes to the proposal?
Once we have agreed upon the general parameters of your trip, we will create the initial proposal. This is not the final itinerary, just a starting point to get us on the right track. I will work closely with you to get to know your specific style, we’ll have an opportunity for feedback and once you accept a final itinerary that kicks off booking and changes cannot be made.
